How to open a bank account
Banking can be complicated. We’ll make it easy for you.
Banks: Love them or hate them but you cannot live without them. What is a joint account? How do credit cards work? Am I eligible for a loan?
If you, like a lot of us in the past, do not know the answers to these questions, we’ve got your back!
In this course, we’ll go back to the very basics of banking. We’ll explain confusing banking terms and what they really mean, we’ll tell you how to set up a new bank account just for you, and even help you learn how your loved ones can send you money!
This is a beginner’s course, so don’t worry if you don’t know anything about managing money. You don’t need any prior knowledge (or any money!) -- we’ll start at the beginning. You can do this!
If you are already aware of the basics of banking, and need simple financial advice, move on to our “How to Manage your Own Money” course!
Our bite-sized information is put together in digestible steps called notes. Follow these below.
