Managing Anxiety
A 4-week written course from Bloom by Chayn.
Introduction
Our courses are designed, specifically, with two intentions: to both inform and empower. Over the 14 sessions of this course, we will pass on key information, offer advice, and give you the tools that will enable you to heal and to cope. Ultimately we hope to embolden, acknowledge, and empower each person to build their self-esteem, banish shame, and to make the best choices for their own lives.
Who is this course for?
Anyone that has suffered a traumatic experience.
How is this course structured?
The following course notes are taken from the ‘Trauma Resilience’ course that ran in the autumn of 2020. During this course, we produced two videos a week, with each of our 5 facilitators taking turns to present the videos in pairs. Every week we sent out two videos. These videos came out twice a week (once on Tuesday and the other on Thursday). Each session had homework for participants to complete in their own time.
So, for these course notes, we’ve kept the structure and content of the course, but of course these are written documents as opposed to videos. Our sessions are still structured into weeks, with two sessions a week, although feel free to take the course at whatever pace works for you. We’ve also kept the homework, and really recommend that you try to do it as you go along. We’ll be building on our skills as the course goes on, so it will help if you work on these skills through the homework outside of the sessions!
